JUNE 19, 2009 - Hey gang, it's been a while since
I've updated the news section of the site, so here
goes. The Van Orsdels have recently been busy
getting ready for the Florida SWAMP STOMP IV
Psychobilly Weekend, which is happening June
26-28. Included in the line-up this time around are
gutterbilly rockers from Michigan, The GODDAMN
GALLOWS!! Also included will be Viva Le Vox,
from south Florida. Other bands will be joining the
shows as well.

The Van Orsdels will also be playing a date with
rockabilly sensation The CHOP TOPS on July 9th.

And let us not forget the spookiest show of the
year, SPOOKY EMPIRE'S ULTIMATE HORROR
WEEKEND 2009, which happens on October 9-
11.

Aside from shows, The Van Orsdels have been
busy working on a slew on new songs for their next
CD, which they plan to start recording later this
year. They have been busy writing and working on
new tunes, which we hope you all will love!

Also new to the Van Orsdels camp is guitarist
Orlando Van Orsdel.

As you can see, The Van Orsdels have been
quite busy! Stay tuned for more updates coming
soon!

JANUARY 7, 2009 - HAPPY NEW YEAR
EVERYONE!!! We want to start off by wishing
everyone the best in this coming new year of 2009.

We hope everybody had a great holiday season.
We're looking forward to 2009!

It's been a while since we've updated this news
section, since most of you usually check our
Myspace page, which is updated constantly.

To start off, we just want to mention that The Van
Orsdels are starting the new year with 1 member
short. As of right now we are in search of a new
guitarist, but we have no doubt we'll find a new
guitarist soon. In the meantime we will keep
everone informed on the updates.

We do have some things in the works, including
a U.S. west coast mini-tour that we are planning
for later this year with The Rocketz, as well as
getting some new material recorded. And of
course let us not forget Spooky Empire 2009!

We are also booked for the Hukilau 2009 in south
Florida.

We will be updating the site with any further
developments, so keep checking back!

FEBRUARY 15, 2008 - Well folks, here we are in
2008, and The Van Orsdels are already keeping
themselves busy! They have already begun
working on new songs for their next cd, so that's
been keeping them busy, as well as booking
shows, and planning big events for 2008. The Van
Orsdels will also start doing their "Psychobilly
Spookshows" again, which were always alot of
fun. Make sure you keep your eyes on the
:SHOWS" page for upcoming shows and events!

OCTOBER 1, 2007 - That's right, the witching
season is upon on, and The Van Orsdels are
back! Make sure you check out all the new dates
posted! The Van Orsdels once again return to
Orlando for Screamfest 2007! As well as the
annual Monster's Ball in Miami!

As well as new show dates, The Van Orsdels
have some new merch posted, including some
new designs by Mr. Gris Grimly himself! Check it
out on our Merch page!

MARCH 6, 2007 - WOW!!! Seems like forever
since we last updated the website, and alot has
happened since then!

I just wanna briefly update everyone on the latest
and greatest. The Van Orsdels, as they have done
every year since 2003, took a break during the
holiday season to spend time with family, and deal
with all the holiday season madness. As well as
dealing with some personal family health
problems. But now the new year is well on it's way
and things should hopefully be back on track soon.
For those of you who are on the band's Myspace
friends list, be sure to take a listen to the latest
song recently posted, "Bloody 27"!

Also coming soon in 2007 (hopefully) will be the
release of the motion picture "SHADOW
GROVE" (check link below) which will feature
music by The Van Orsdels!

For now that's all the news I will be posting, but
hopefully we will have some more news and
updates for you guys,....and I promise I will be
better about updates from now on!!

AUGUST 10, 2006 - New song posted!! The Van
Orsdels have recorded a new song called "Hell On
Wheels". It's a demo version of a song that will be
on the band's next full length cd, which the boys are
in the process of writing new material for. Check it
out!

Also something else to look forward to from The
Van Orsdels...their music will be featured in an
upcoming independent horror movie, SHADOW
GROVE! That's right, the movie will feature songs
by TVO in the soundtrack! For more info on
